Culture of Uttar Pradesh-

            The culture of Uttar Pradesh is an Indian culture that has its roots in Hindi and Urdu literature, music, fine arts, drama, and cinema Lucknow. The capital of Uttar Pradesh has several beautiful historical monuments such as Bara Imambara and Chhota Imambara. It has also preserved the damaged complex of the Oudh-PeriodBritish Resident’s quarters, which are being restored.

                                              Uttar Pradesh attracts a large number of visitors, both national and international, with more than 71 million domestic tourists (in 2003) and almost 25% of the All-India foreign tourists visiting Uttar Pradesh is one of the top tourist destinations in India. There are two regions in the state where a majority of the tourists go-viz the Agra circuit and the Hindu Pilgrimage circuit.People of Uttar Pradesh takes pride to be the first to introduce the two great epics- Ramayana and Mahabharata to the world. The state also has a plethora of fairs and festivals, that add to the charm And Charisma of the state.

Ayodhya-

               Ayodhya city is identified by some with the legendary city of Ayodhya, and as such, as being the birth Place of Lord Rama and setting of the epic Ramayana. The accuracy of this identification is central to the Ayodhya dispute: modern scholars variously believe that the Present-day Ayodhya is some as the legendary Ayodhya or that a legendary city is a mythical Place that comes to be identified with the Present-day Ayodhya only during the Gupta period around the 4th-5th century AD.business plan in Hindi


 The Pilgrimage the circuit includes the holiest of the Hindu holy cities on the banks of sacred rivers the Ganges and the Yamuna: Varanasi (also considered the world’s oldest city) Ayodhya (birthplace of Lord Rama), Mathura (birthplace of Lord Krishna) Vrindavan (the village where Lord Krishna spent his childhood), and Allahabad{Prayag Raj} the confluence or “holy Sangam” of the sacred Ganges- Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.

Festivals of Uttar Pradesh-

                       Other than the national festivals like Holi, Diwali, and Makar- Sankranti a few other cities have a few other festivals celebrated with a whole lot of zeal and fervor. Bharat-Milap or Chhath-Pooja is supposed to be a big affair in Varanasi and it attracts tourists from all over the country. This festival is dedicated to the worship of the Sun, God of Energy, and is believed to cure incurable diseases like leprosy, etc.New Life

      Kumbh Mela and  Magh Mela are celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm in Allahabad, depicting the Psychedelic culture of Uttar Pradesh. It is considered to be one of the holiest cities of India and during the time of the meals, it experiences a large amalgamation of devotees from all over the world. Agra-

     The city of Agra gives access to three world Heritage sites: Tajmahal, Agra Fort, and the nearby Fatehpur Sikri. Tajmahal is a mausoleum built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is cited as “the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the world’s heritage”. Agra fort is about 2.5 km northwest of its much more famous sister monument, the Tajmahal.
